Mike John Mortby, ACIB

Mike is a co-founder and director of MJM Business Solutions Limited. Following a highly successful and rewarding 27 year career in Financial Services and Customer Service he decided to utilise his expertise to help others.

Through his practical hands on experience mike has developed a unique mix of financial, business, operational, people management, training and coaching skills. Using his diverse range of people development skills he has delivered high levels of training and coaching to a variety of industries and organisations.

These include local colleges, government departments, small private companies and multinational PLC’s. His training expertise includes all forms of management development, individual development and assessment, customer service, sales, coaching, mentoring and career management.

He is an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the Institute of Management Consultants. During his career with Barclays Bank he covered all aspects of management, with involvement at both Branch and Regional Level, where he was responsible for managing the Customer Experience through a period of restructuring and change.

Possessing an ability to communicate easily at all levels Mike has a strong emphasis on empowerment, motivation, leadership and forward planning. With his relaxed style he develops an excellent working relationship with individuals from new recruits through to Managing Director level.

Through confidence in his people approach and a proven ability of operating in diversified environments and cultures Mike brings a very professional but personal approach to all involved.
